Let’s talk about the Elephant in the room

First, a little introduction. I’m Malte, and have been an artist my whole life. Painting fills my soul with joy.
I use AI the same way I use my brushes or my drawing tablet - as a tool that is. One that is quite powerful and can certainly look scary. But oh the possibilities.

The first thing that grabs my attention when it comes to games, is the art direction. Just imagine Gris, Hollow Knight or Hades with a bland artstyle, based on asset packs that have been used in dozens of projects before. Would you still love those games the same?

AI assets (aswell as asset packs for that matter) lack artistic intention, which results in them looking soulless.

But that doesn’t have to be the case with ai assets. AI art can be intentional. It can be used to craft a new unique style, built just for your game. It can be meaningful. And I can help you with that.

  1. You comission an artist to craft a unique style for your game. They create all the assets by hand. Probably not within your budget.

  2. You make use of existing asset packs. You save a lot of money and effort, but it shows.

  3. You fiddle with AI and generate assets with it. They don’t look good.
